Call for Translations: Spring 2025 Issue

Spring 2025 Issue:

Travel Light: Apprehending Being on the Move

The editorial board of The Scattered Pelican invites submissions of translations for our upcoming issue, “Travel Light: Apprehending Being on the Move”. This issue seeks to explore the nature of movement in the 21st century—a period marked by shifting interpretations of mobility, social processes, and the governance of bodies in space within an era of accelerating technological speed. We welcome translations of scholarly texts, literary works, archival materials, and other significant writings that engage with themes of travel, migration, displacement, transience, politics and the psychology of movement.

    4. An excerpt or the full text (no more than 250 words) in the original language, to emphasize on descriptions, thematic aspects, or challenges and theories of the translation process.
